DAF’s headquarters, engine factory, component plant, press shop and final assembly line for
CF and XF models are located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Axles and cabins are produced in Westerlo,
Belgium. Leyland Trucks (PACCAR Company) in the UK produces the company’s LF series of light and medium
duty trucks, as well as CF and XF105 vehicles.
The company has thirteen sales branches in Europe. To be able to offer its customers optimum service,
DAF operates an international network of around 1,000 dealers and service points in throughout Europe,
the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.
DAF Dealers are supported by PACCAR Parts Distribution Centers in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain.
In 2007 construction started for a fourth European PACCAR Parts Distribution Centre near Budapest, Hungary,
to serve the growing Central and Eastern European markets.
Europe is increasingly coalescing into one market, with more and more transport companies operating internationally.
That demands a uniform dealer network, so that we can best serve transporters, wherever in Europe they happen to be.
